Hi! I’m Christian Flynn

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • 5 Years in Management and 3 Years of Entrepreneurship

  • Specialized in User Adoption through Org Optimization, Automations, and Reports and Dashboards

As a Freelance Salesforce Consultant, I've gained extensive experience on the Salesforce platform while working with stakeholders, project managers, and end-users.

I was the Team Leader for a team of 3 admins, where we built a brand new org, completing 67 requirements, including 40 flows, 24 reports, custom apps, dashboards and homepages, and a full security setup.

I'm experienced with data loader, 3rd-party app integrations, formulas, changesets, email templates, and Lightning Record Page customizations.

I'm passionate about UI optimization, user experience, user training, and working with department heads to solve their developing business needs.

I have 3+ years as a self-employed teacher and coach where I've cemented many soft skills such as active listening, critical thinking, and strategic questioning, along with a deep understanding of business, sales, and marketing processes.

In my free time, I enjoy engaging with other Salesforce professionals on LinkedIn to increase my Salesforce knowledge and connections. I'm always learning new skills through Trailhead and online courses. I'm also a member of Talent Stacker's Salesforce Career Development Program where I learn, teach, and discuss new Salesforce features and best practices with my community.

Outside of my passion for Salesforce, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our 2 cats, backpacking in nature, woodworking, caring for our many houseplants, and writing and recording music.

What You Don’t Know About Me

Here are some things to help you get to know me better, beyond my resume.

I drove the U.S. from coast to coast 9 times in 5 years. I wrote, recorded, and played music around the country. I play guitar, drums, bass, piano, and mandolin, and write in many styles of music.

I spent a year in a yoga community learning about how to be a good person, to uplift others through service and kindness, and to raise your energy for a successful and joyful life.

I traveled alone in India for 3 months, studying meditation and yoga, teaching music, and serving at ashrams and yoga centers.

I've had many jobs while traveling where I've had to continuously learn new skills, reinvent myself, and reposition myself as an authority. These experiences have given me the confidence that I can figure anything out and succeed in any environment.

I was in a severe car crash in 2018 that gave me the opportunity to have a new perspective on life. After this, I started a career teaching meditation, which quickly led to coaching. As a self-employed business owner, I fell in love with business itself. Over the last 3 years, I dove heavily into learning about marketing, sales, software, and business process automation. Ultimately, that led me to start a career in salesforce administration where I maximize the platform’s functionality to optimize your business processes and give you more time to focus on business growth.

Here's a bluegrass song I wrote in 2017 when I lived in Lake Tahoe, California.
